Jennifer Lyon Bell: The Sweetest Sex Columnist You'll Ever Meet

Expat and Amsterdam resident Jennifer Lyon Bell's work first came to my attention a little more than two years ago, when her erotic short film "Headshot" screened at the CineKink festival in NYC. It's a nine minute long film of a blowjob in which the viewer only sees the expressions on the face of the man receiving it - fittingly, it's made in homage to Andy Warhol's film "Blowjob." The director has been working on a short erotic film called "Matinee" since then, which should be debuting in Europe within the next few months.

She's also just landed a sex column at the Amsterdam Weekly, an English-language alt weekly that is trying its damnedest to stay afloat with some tried but maybe not so true gimmicks. Their fund raising attempt apparently includes making a cover story out of their sex column hire, plus trying to auction off little squares of the paper, but it doesn't include putting the content online in a form other than a PDF.

But I digress - Jennifer's column is worth reading because she's smart (with a Harvard degree to prove it) without being a douche about it. She's also very curious about sexuality in all it's forms, and she looks so much like a second grade teacher that when I stand next to her I actually seem porny instead of librarian-like. Or at least, I look like a porny librarian.
