Social networking for sex nerds

I hear you, the title is making you think - isn't most "social networking" overtly (or at least covertly) about sex? Well, yes, but SexualityStudies.net is different, because it's a networking site for academics working on issues of sexuality.
The best thing about the site is that it isn't solely focused on the United States. In fact, it's a collaboration between the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society (ARCSHS) and the International Association for the Study of Sexuality Culture and Society (IASSCS), and its aim is to develop coursework in sexuality at an advanced level in developing nations.
Since the site has a very no-nonsense design -it's colorful but has no pictures- it will probably have the opportunity to actually be used for its intended purpose. But even if you're not committed to spending years preparing to stand in front a dissertation committee to defend your research on obscure but also slightly naughty topics, it's worth a look.
