New York's Sexerati Celebrates New Books in Style

guestofhonor.jpg
Esteemed and hard-working sex educators and writers Tristan Taormino, Patricia Johnson, and Mark Michaels (pictured above in that order, left to right) joined forces last night to launch their respective books. Tristan's Opening Up: A Guide to Creating and Sustaining Open Relationships and Mark and Patricia's Tantra for Erotic Empowerment: The Key to Enriching Your Sexual Life are, at base, all about nurturing communication between lovers. They are also all about ways to break the relationship mold set for us by mainstream American culture. They are about coloring outside the lines, but not doing so with wild abandon. Well, except in the cases where wild abandon is necessary (and oh, it is).

As might be expected, a bevy of smart, sexy and interesting perverts showed up to the party. The promise of free booze, free raffles, and gift bags for the first 200 people to show up didn't hurt attendance, but truth be told folks would have appeared in droves without those things in place.

Here are some of the lovelies Naked City editor Audacia Ray caught on camera:
