Three Years of Half-Nekkid Thursdays

The vast majority of memes that bloggers try to cow each other into are -to put it mildly- pointless and annoying. Many don't have real staying power, while others just won't go away. Half-Nekkid Thursday (lovingly referred to as HNT by folks in the know) hasn't gone away for three whole years, and it's a really terrific meme that plenty of sex bloggers participate in. Started by Osbasso in May 2005, the meme requires that participants post a picture showing some skin on Thursdays. It's amateur but not porn, sexy but not salacious, and revealingly intimate. The vast majority of the participants maintain some degree of anonymity, which actually adds to the appeal.

This was unexpected, but thanks for the shout out!
Two small points--the vast majority of participants aren't sex bloggers, and the "skin" requirement isn't really a requirement. Baring one's soul is often much more nekkid!
But the skin makes it fun!

Indeed, Osbasso is right about most HNT participants no being sex bloggers, but our sex blog is proudly in the minority. Happy HNT!

I've really enjoyed participating in HNT almost since it's inception. Besides getting to check out a lot of hot chicks each week, it sure has helped me, and many others, get over our inhibitions.

It's a meme that continues to grow too - I'm only on my fourth week of participation and am already solidly hooked.
It's partly the challenge of finding a shot that intrigues or amuses others and then also the fun of seeing what others have come up with. There's a real sense of community.
