Max Hardcore: Guilty on Obscenity Charges

I really loathe Max Hardcore. And the thing is, I'm not the kind of girl who only likes soft and fluffy porn either. But Max, the man himself, makes my skin crawl. He's the epitome of the misogynistic good ole boy and it sees that he often preys on women in the adult industry who are a few crayons shy of a full box.
That said, it's frightening that he's been found guilty of 10 federal counts of distributing obscene materials over the Internet and through the mail. His trial, which has taken place in Tampa, has been a source of anxiety for folks in the adult industry, especially coupled with the obscenity woes of John Stagliano.
Max intends to appeal, but at the moment his sentencing date is set for September 5th.

the more I hear about max from people who know him, the less sure I am he is as horrible as he seems to be on film. either way, this trial, especially after hearing some of the comments from three members of the jury, really pisses me off.
