The Slipper Room, 167 Orchard Street. $pread Magazine, in conjunction with SWANK (Sex Workers Action New York) and SWOP-NYC (Sex Workers Outreach Project), is proud to host their first pre-fourth of July burlesque bash and voter registration event. A national effort-- with events from Sin City to the Windy City, the Capital to the Big Apple-- sex workers and their allies are organizing into an electoral force in the pursuit of political and economic justice. $5.
TES Fest - July 4-6, 2008 at the Radisson Hotel in Piscataway, N. J Spend the holiday weekend learning all about BDSM in dozens of hands-on workshops, organized by The Eulenspiegel Society. Classes include: Laughter in Rope, Mummification, Wild Rope - Bondage Techniques from the Great Outdoors, Conflict Resolution Within a M/s, D/s Framework, Wrestling for Fetish Play, and many others.
