Grind the Vote: Sex Workers from Pole to Poll

For almost four years, $pread Magazine has provided a platform for sex workers to express themselves in a glossy, quarterly magazine. The self-expression has extended beyond the boundaries of the magazine's pages too - parties, activism, art shows, all that good stuff.
The most recent event the magazine has concocted, in collaboration with Sex Workers Outreach Project NY (SWOP NY) and Sex Workers Action New yorK (SWANK), is Grind the Vote - a voter registration drive that encourages sex workers to participate in the electoral process, especially in a presidential election year.
