Jollies Pleasure Toys designs really cool and colorful silicone toys, many of which have nicely non-penis shapes to them. The Rider is totally insertable, like smart balls - only not. It's not so much meant for the old in-out as it's meant to create the feeling of vaginal fullness. And yes, it should only be used in the vagina - without a flared based it could easily get lost if you use it anally.

I reviewed this toy in the most recent episode of my other video podcast, Live Girl Review - and even though I gave it enough of a workout that I could review it, I'm still really not sure what I think about it. That black disk you see suspended in the toy is floating in an unidentified liquid. When you click the disk, the liquid gets hot and hard. It's definitely awesome from the tech standpoint, but its a bit high maintenance too. Either way you cut it, the Phoenix is something different.

Fun Factory's Sinnflut series of rechargeable vibrators is nothing short of awesome, so I guess they figured they'd mix it up stylistically a bit. The Benjamin Bond functions just like the other Sinnfluts, with a base it stands in for recharging, but its got a stylistic nod to bondage.

The sex toy -erm, I mean, novelty- business still manages to surprise and perplex me sometimes. For example: Erotic Embrace's Tickle Bugs. Its a battery operated bug with legs that twitch and have little synthetic hairs on them for maximum stimulation.
If you've got entomophobia or are mildly creeped out by little robot vibrator bugs, steer clear. On second thought, if you're an evil top with a bottom who is squicked by bugs, these little guys could be a lot of fun.
